The pockets have more holes now than they did two weeks ago, for sure.

Why is patience so difficult sometimes?

I remember being a little kid and thinking life would last forever. Every time the air started getting cooler and the leaves began to trickle down to earth, my mind would begin to conjure up images of large boxes with glossy, colorful wrapping paper and ginormous bows. There would be snow outside and ideally, no rules or chores for several days during the bliss of holiday season. Unfortunately, these wonderful thoughts tormented me for weeks while Christmas never seemed to draw a single day nearer.

The same thing happened for my birthdays. And for school to get out. And for school to begin. Fortunately, for most of those situations, the drawn out anticipation has gradually subsided to only lasting a few short minutes, especially, as we all know, in the case of our beloved Christmas time (just kidding. but seriously). However, this is certainly not to say that the difficulty of being patient has lessened in any way.

Now, my patience is simply tested in different ways. I'm made to wait for a variety of things from supper to finding a girlfriend. Often, it's an agonizing struggle to make some sort of it's-gotta-be-important,-right? decision. And currently, it's just waiting to figure out which camera I should buy.

Sometimes I just want to buy something. And right now is one of those times. But I must be patient. How come it's so hard?

Nikon. Check.
18-55mm preferable. Check.
55-200mm eventually/preferable. Check.

But...
D40?
D5000?
D80?
D90?
Wait/pre-order the D3000?

Ah, patience. What cameras are you considering? I did the same slow choosing when I bought mine.

Stoffer Face! I am so stoked to hear that you're pursuing some photography stuff!! Towards the end of that semester you were definitely wasting me in talent. Way to go my friend. Let's see if we can develop some pictures next year like we always talked about. Wanna?

What sort of specifications do you want your girlfriend to come with? Can you pre-order those? Too bad you can't shop for them on the internet, or is that what facebook is for? They should have an order form on facebook. I guess they do have a way of checking availability. We should go "shopping" together sometime.
